This page explains what personal information Pulcinella collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short and in plain English. If you have any questions, just ask us.

We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.
Table booking requests
When you ask for a table using our booking form we collect:
- your name and mobile number
- your email address, if you choose to give it
- the date, time and number of guests, and any notes you add (for example a birthday, a high chair or an allergy you want us to know about)
We use these details only to deal with your booking: to confirm or decline it, to contact you if something changes, and to have your table ready. Our legal basis is that you have asked us to take a booking for you.
If you tell us about an allergy or dietary need in the notes, we use it only to prepare your meal safely. Please always remind your server about allergies on the day as well.
News and offers (only if you tick the box)
The booking form has an optional box to receive occasional news and offers from us, such as festive menus and special events. We only add you to our mailing list if you tick it, and we record when you agreed and the wording you agreed to.
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails, or by contacting us on the details above. Unsubscribing does not affect any booking.
Who can see your information
Your booking details are seen only by the Pulcinella team who handle reservations. Each staff member has their own login. When a request comes in, we get an alert on our own phones and a copy by email to our restaurant inbox.
We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone else for their own marketing. We use a small number of trusted services to run the website and our email:
- Bluehost hosts this website and our email.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam. It may collect information about your device and how you use the page (Google privacy policy).
- Square handles gift voucher purchases, if you buy one. Payment details go directly to Square, not to us.
Some parts of our pages show content from other websites: Tripadvisor reviews, the Food Standards Agency hygiene rating, and links to our Facebook and Instagram pages. These sites may set their own cookies. Their privacy policies apply to them.
Cookies
We use a few cookies to make the site work and, only with your agreement, to understand how it is used. You can choose which cookies you accept using the cookie banner, and change your mind at any time.
How long we keep it
- Booking requests: we keep these for up to 2 years, so we can deal with any queries about a visit, and then delete them.
- Mailing list: we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop sending you news and offers
Just email info@pulcinellas.co.uk or call us. We will reply within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
